... Speaking of work ....

Sitting and facing the workstation in the office, thinking what to do next. Don’t get me wrong, its not that I have nothing to do but more of the opposite. Am sure you ever had such an experience, facing dilemmas on which ones to do first?

Superiors love to throw work at their subordinates without thinking of consequences - untimely meals and lacking of sleep. So the question comes back, which ones to do first?

I have learnt only one factor that determines what to do next, mainly prioritizing the important task and leaving the unimportant ones but it’s a sad fact that bosses always maintain their stand when they say everything is as important as the other. Maybe I should start reading a book on time management and learn the gist of its contents.Its always better when you have an understanding superior that doesn't throw work at you in loads.

Be it reports and proposals, sales pitch and site recces, don't senior management feel it is too much to abosrb and digest? Perhaps they just enjoy torturing people and seeing them cringe during lunch hour for having lack of food or perhaps happy to see colleagues walking around like zombies with dark eye rings to their eyes. I sometimes wonder if they ever go in detail what you have prepared for them.

As for now, I am not able to figure out what goes around ticking the brains of these important figure heads in companies. Are they actually productive in their work or do they just see a vision and delegate work to individuals to work their way around? If any CEOs or Presidents of companies are reading this blog, please be nice and tell us more on what goes round behind minds like yours.

Time to switch programs on my computer and head back to work.
